"Farewell my wife and children all / From you a father Christ doth call / Mourn not for me, it is in vain / To call me to your sight again"
(Courtesy great-granddaughter Jini Washburn-- Note: Louis Leibrock donated four acres of land for church purposes, on which was placed the cemetery. The family myth has been that Louis Leibrock was struck by lightning which caused his death. The story goes that the minister felt that because of the way he died he could not be buried in the church cemetery. There is a headstone, as shone in the picture, but his death is not listed in the church's centennial booklet. His wife Christiana is said to be buried in the Middle Creek cemetery in the obituary, but her death is not listed in the booklet, and I could not find a headstone. So, a mystery remains; are they buried at Middle Creek on that land that he gave or not?)
