southeast of the Village of Beaver Crossing, Seward County, Nebraska
Englehaupt Cemetery is located 5 miles east and 2 miles south of the village of Beaver Crossing,
in Section 22, Precinct N , Seward County, Nebraska.
Status: Abandoned.
Historical note: If you look closely at the picture of the Englehaupt cemetery above, you will see a slight rise in the surface immediately inside the gate.
This is actually the remains of a sod church which is thought to be the first church erected in Seward County. It is gradually disappearing.--Joan
